INTERNATIONAL ROUNDTABLE 22 January Rome
On January 22nd, an international roundtable will take place in Rome at the spaces of Esperienza Europa David Sassoli, marking the conclusion of the “Culture Lights” project.
The event will feature project partners, experts in the fields of lighting and lighting design, and representatives from the cultural sector to discuss the crucial role of sustainable lighting as a tool to enhance artistic, architectural, and archaeological heritage.
Set in the historic framework of Rome, just steps away from the Imperial Forums—a site that has seen numerous lighting design interventions in recent years—this roundtable offers a unique opportunity to explore how light can transform and enhance these treasures.
Throughout the day, the results of research and training activities conducted in Italy, Poland, and Greece will be presented, aiming to develop recommendations for policymakers on improving the lighting of historical buildings, making it more sustainable and effective.
The event is open to all interested parties: scholars, professionals, architects, lighting designers, students, and industry operators.
To participate, reservations are required by 20 January by emailing l.bove@meltingpro.org and o.patroni@meltingpro.org
